NASCAR Hauler Parade returns to Las Vegas Strip
Dozens of NASCAR team haulers will congregate on the Las Vegas Strip to kick off the 2010 NASCAR Weekend Celebrations and parade down one of the country’s most famous streets. The 2010 NASCAR Hauler Parade will take place on Thursday, February 25th at Las Vegas Strip beginning at 6 p.m The event will showcase approximately 60 to 75 18-wheelers that carry the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series race cars and equipment to the tracks.
The colorful parade will kick off at 6:00 pm on Las Vegas Boulevard, and parade for approximately five miles on Sahara Avenue before returning to Interstate 15 to head to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in preparation for the weekend events.
Racing events will begin on Thursday, Feruary 25th, at the Dirt Track with the USAC Sprint Car and Midget racing. Gates will open at 3 p.m. with racing starting at 7 p.m. The action will continue on February 26th with the 2010 Sam’s Town 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series and Shelby American qualifying sessions, followed by World of Outlaws Sprint Car racing at the Dirt Track at LVMS at 7:00 p.m.
The 2010 Sam’s Town 300 will start at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 27th, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Shelby American will take the green flag at noon on Sunday, February 28th.
