The U.S. fans may have finally got to David Beckham, as it was reported by ESPN that the soccer star will be back with the A.C. Milan at the beginning next year. Since Beckham’s signing with the Los Angeles Galaxy back in 2007, this is the second time that the team has loaned the player to a Champions League team.

This loan was confirmed today by Milan’s vice-president Adriano Galliani in Sky Sport Italia saying, “David Beckham’s return on loan in January is already a done deal.”

Beckham has had a rough time ever since joining the Los Angeles Galaxy back in 2007, this due in part to conflicts with teammates as well as Galaxy soccer fans. One of the most publicized conflicts were the ones between him and teammate Landon Donovan. Donovan accused Beckham of being lazy and disloyal to the soccer team. Ever since this event, Galaxy attendance has been down and Beckham’s popularity in the U.S. has declined dramatically.

Beckham is currently working hard to make the English squad for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
